Walgreens cosmetics savings!

So today I went to Walgreens to do my weekly bargaining/couponing for makeup. Two main reasons why I went to Walgreens was for the RIMMEL LONDON lip and eye makeup that is 50% off retail price and Ban deodorant that's only $0.24 (after coupons). Though the L'OREAL Magic Smooth Souffle isn't on sale, Walgreens has a coupon (in the June 2011 Savings Book) for the product. I doubled it with a manufacturer coupon (found in Smart Source or Redplum) which saved me total of $5. I picked up the following items:

China Glaze Dupe

So I was going through my nail polish collection and found two that were very similar. I found that Wet n Wild's Wild Shine in "Night Prowl" is the dupe for China Glaze's "Mummy May I." The only difference that I saw was that the glitter from "Night Prowl" is more finer than that of "Mummy May I." Other than that, the colors are similar.

For all you nail polish junkies, Walgreens currently has a sale on Wet n Wild nail polishes. These usually retail for $0.99 cents but right now for the month of May (all the way to the end of the month), they are $0.69! Wow, you can't beat that. Maybelline cosmetics savings!

Throughout the week of May 15, I went to Rite Aid and Walgreens to do my weekly cosmetics bargain hunting. Now, before I made my purchases I made sure that I had coupons and knew of the sales. Since Rite Aid currently has the 40% off all Maybelline cosmetics (from face cosmetics to tools), I been wanting to try out the Fit Me foundation. I don't use any foundation whatsoever but I've heard very good reviews about this product. I took the advantage of this sale and plus the manufacturer's coupons that I've had. Below, I have the receipt of how much I saved on this product. I got lured into buying the Fit Me concealer, powder, and blush as well! I bought two shades of the Fit Me Foundation since summer is around corner should my complexion get darker. Either way, I saved more than half from retail value of this products. For Walgreens, certain Maybelline cosmetics were on 50% off and then had a BOGO sale. List of products bought are listed below!

Cardigans

This hasn't been the hottest summer here in SoCal. So I was browsing online for cardigans and found several stores are starting to sell them since fall is around the corner. As you know I like to 'Compare and Save.' I was on MMC (Makemechic.com) and saw, on their New Arrivals section, some cardigans ranging from $18.02-$22.26. For me, being a bargain hunter, I think this is quite expensive. I remember seeing new cardis at Forever 21 and for cheap too. Well, for them it varies but I checked out their Fabulous Finds section and found cardigans ranging from $8.99-$24.80. Thats cheaper than MMC! I'll leave you with cardis from both sites and you be the judge :)
